In business for eight years, Safe Dinar is the premier online service for selling and buying dinar. They came to One Pica with ideas on how to make their site more reputable and give customers a sense of security when making a purchase. With these goals in mind we created an advanced fraud detection system with an identification verification system to enhance security while shopping. We also simplified the buying and redemption process, improved the platform, added new functionality, and made it easier for administrators to manage the account and transactions.
Another project in our continued relationship with Safe Dinar included the translation of their site to responsive design. Responsive design is a great design method for any company when considering mobile compatibility. This style enables any website to be accessed on any device (mobile, tablet, etc.) with optimal usability based on screen width and user intent. With responsive design, you only have one set of content and code to manage, allowing for control over each device-specific user experience without increased management. All key page elements of the website will either condense or be removed to fit various screen sizes.
We began this process with Safe Dinar by examining which elements of the page were essential to the business based on what actions the business wanted the user to take per device. After deciding on the elements that were crucial to all sizes of the website, we began by designing the site for mobile. When designing the site responsively, we strategically organized the website to include a condensed version of the header and footer along with other important navigation bars such as “buy dinar” and “sell dinar.” The mobile website had expandable sections that allowed customers to easily purchase dinar. We then figured out our break points for the tablet and desktop size screen and continued to increase the content visible to the customer. Today, the Safe Dinar website is live with responsive, offering users the ability to transact their trades and purchases simply and effectively via any device, as well as contact customer service and navigate the latest news about dinar.
